Mr. Ebner represents individuals, business owners, and closely held businesses with respect to estate planning, tax planning, and business succession planning. Corporate transactions and asset protection planning are also part of Mr. Ebner’s practice. He also has extensive experience in the areas of elder protection, estate and trust administration, charitable and philanthropic planning, and special needs planning.
Mr. Ebner is dedicated to volunteering his time by being active in a variety of ways that have personal relevance to him, including through the Restful Nights Program at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (“The James”). Mr. Ebner visits with patients and their families at The James in the evenings with a cart of amenities that promote a calm and restful environment. Mr. Ebner has also participated in and/or fundraised for Pelotonia, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, as well as the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. He also served as a tutor for the same underprivileged Chicago area youth for over six (6) years and served on the Board of Chicago Lights Tutoring Program. Mr. Ebner has been invited to speak throughout the Franklin County community on the topics of estate planning as well as elder abuse, neglect and exploitation and on the Franklin County Office on Aging’s Senior Options Program that enables Franklin County seniors to remain independent and in their homes with the help of supportive services.
